The Agribusiness Market Ecosystem Alliance (AMEA) is a young but rapidly growing and dynamic NGO that standardizes the efficient development of professional farmer organizations to improve their livelihoods. We believe that professional farmer organizations are key for poverty alleviation and food security. With a cost-effective and integrated system of standards, assessments, training materials and service providers, AMEA gives buyers, banks, and input services greater confidence to engage farmer organizations in stronger, more resilient, supply chains. The worldwide multi-stakeholder alliance includes ACDI VOCA, Argidius, CTA, ICCO, IDH, IFC, Fairtrade Africa, NCBA CLUSA, Rikolto, SCOPEinsight, Small Foundation and Technoserve.
