Job objective:
The main purpose of the Product Trainer role is to ensure that employees have a deep understanding of the brand's products, features, and benefits, enabling them to deliver an outstanding customer experience. The Product Trainer designs and delivers engaging training sessions, supports product launches, and ensures that teams are well-equipped with up-to-date product knowledge to drive sales performance and brand consistency.Your responsibilities:
- Adapt international training materials in order to fit local specificities and enhance content of existing training support documents when needed
- Deliver product training to both Beauty Advisors and generic staff in line with sales cycles & training priorities developing new training material to enhance development of training programs throughout region.
- Deliver specific training to grow and develop Store Teams following the Central guidelines.
- In charge with other training related activities in collaboration with suppliers (workshops, contests), keep up effective communication throughout process and supervising how supplier’s trainers deliver knowledge to staff.
- Store visit to observe customer purchase behavior and interact with Store Teams and/or customers
- Identify and provide feedback for future training need
- Support the L&D Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of Douglas Academy initiatives
Our requirements:
- Completed higher education
- Experience in beauty industry min. 3 years
- Professionally represent the Douglas Beauty brand image
- Demonstrates social media ability to effectively and professionally engage audiences on social media platforms
- Self-motivated, results oriented, strategic & creative mindset, collaborative leadership
- Exceptional verbal & written communication, presentation, public speaking, & social media skills
- Proficient knowledge and awareness of beauty industry, market and competitive trends
- Track record of effective working relationships across levels: brand leadership, retailers, BAs, and clients
- Knowledge of computer programs – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- This position must be self-motivated and able to manage schedules and deliver excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage high complexity situation
- Availability for frequent business trips
- Fluent English
- Valid driver’s license
