Position overview

Porsche Latin America, Inc. Is seeking a driven Product, Price and Smart Mobility Manager with experience in pricing, product management, and project management. This position serves as a subject matter expert for Porsche products and services and contributes to the Product, Price and Strategic Planning team by supporting pricing, strategic planning, market research, and regional product initiatives.

With a strong focus on Smart Mobility and product initiatives, this role drives the implementation and steering of regional strategies across Latin America and the Caribbean. The position coordinates activities throughout the full project lifecycle, from preparation and strategy development through market launch and ongoing operations, in alignment with the overall rollout strategy.

The Manager independently oversees Smart Mobility business areas and actively contributes to international project teams, with a particular focus on Porsche Connect and related connectivity initiatives.

Roles & responsibilities

• Pioneer and drive initiatives, projects, and solutions aligned with the overall business plan and strategic targets for the Latin America and Caribbean region.
• Conduct market requirement analyses and competitive research, evaluating emerging technologies and trends with a strong focus on customer needs and brand objectives.
• Create transparency across the region by mapping current product availability and monitoring future product and offer planning.
• Manage special model initiatives, including inspirational vehicles (e.g., Icons of Latin America), market editions, and other special projects, coordinating all project phases and workshops with markets, Porsche Latin America teams, and Porsche AG.
• Develop and manage processes and tools for recommended retail pricing within free importer markets.
• Leverage option take-rate insights and product expertise to maximize option revenue by developing vehicle option turnover plans and individual option take-rate targets.
• Support a consistent, competitive, and profitable long-term product strategy through the development of local standard (V-option) structures and related development plans.
• Coordinate product requests to enhance local market offerings, including option packages and other product requirements.
• Support effective regional pricing through operational pricing initiatives, including competitor mystery shopping, pricing tool management, and recommended retail price modeling.
• Serve as a product expert for Smart Mobility and related areas, including Porsche Connect, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, E-mobility, and Infotainment, and conduct market on-site testing and training activities.
• Steer the regional Connectivity strategy and develop and coordinate campaigns designed to increase activation rates and service usage.
• Coordinate My Porsche initiatives to promote service expansion, activation, and usage across markets.
• Manage the implementation and ongoing functionality of Porsche Connect in Connect markets, including legal and tax requirements, contract development, compensation models, and importer/dealer systems.
• Foster coordination and communication among headquarters, importers, and local dealership teams, while developing operational sales management processes, including reporting, market research, analysis, and online Connect Store management.
• Support product presentations and communications for internal departments and importers.
• Participate in importer and dealer training, team activities, events, and other assignments based on evolving business needs.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Marketing, or Computer Sciences

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in product management, planning, or pricing within the premium automotive industry.
• Experience with Porsche product management, planning, and approval processes is highly preferred.
• Experience with connectivity solutions and a strong understanding of and interest in emerging technologies and consumer electronics.
• Strong understanding of the automotive industry and related areas, including connected vehicles, sales and after-sales, and e-commerce.
• Experience with project management and reporting tools, such as Jira, Confluence, and milestone planning tools.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and distill findings into essential information and actionable recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple levels of the organization and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional presence.
• Strong presentation skills, including content development, presentation techniques, and design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish and/or German language skills are a strong plus.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, analytical, and structured approach to work.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments and priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively within an international, complex, and culturally diverse corporate environment.
• Ability and discipline to work remotely and, when necessary, outside regular business hours across multiple time zones.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

The salary range for this role is $86,600-$100,000. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
