What you'll do
As a Junior Portfolio Manager (f/m/x) at Enpal, you will support the management and optimization of one of the largest renewable energy portfolios in Europe. You will work closely with our Portfolio Management, Finance, Controlling, and Operations teams to monitor portfolio performance, ensure accurate reporting, and support financing activities.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in structured finance, asset management, and renewable energy projects while contributing directly to the growth and financial success of Enpal's solar and battery storage portfolio.
- Support the monitoring and optimization of our solar and battery storage portfolios, ensuring accurate performance tracking, covenant compliance, and timely reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for internal stakeholders, lenders, and financing partners.
- Support the monitoring of loan agreements and financing structures, identifying potential risks and supporting the implementation of mitigation measures.
- Ensure data quality and consistency by collaborating closely with Controlling, Treasury, Cash Collection, and operational teams.
- Analyze portfolio performance indicators and contribute to identifying opportunities for improvement and value creation.
- Support refinancing activities by preparing analyses, financial documentation, and portfolio insights.
- Assist in maintaining internal controls and processes to ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Work closely with senior team members to improve reporting processes and develop best practices within Portfolio Management.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional experience in finance, controlling, investment banking, structured finance, asset management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial modelling (Excel-based cash flow models, scenario and sensitivity analysis); experience with project finance or structured finance models is a plus.
- Good understanding of financial statements, reporting processes, and corporate finance concepts.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with different internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong plus.
