You are invited to join the Top-Management Team of Porsche Engineering Romania, where you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expanding market presence for the Porsche Engineering and Porsche Engineering Romania business segments.
Your mission is to identify, promote, and secure new business opportunities, foster strong client relationships, and ensure strategic alignment across international subsidiaries.
Tasks
- You are responsible for the business development and sales strategy of the group-wide and local engineering service verticals, ensuring alignment with the overall Porsche Engineering Romania and Porsche Engineering Group strategy
- You will identify, analyse and promote new markets, business opportunities and industry trends, together with Directors, Senior Managers and function experts from the verticals, driving growth and innovation
- You are responsible for lead generation and prospecting as well as translating customer problems into solution scope
- You are responsible for promoting current and future products and services to both existing and potential customers, ensuring the value proposition is clearly communicated.
- You will engage prospective clients to understand needs, challenges, technical requirements and you will organise events to promote our services and to increase visibility (e.g. AI Days, Digital Day)
- You will generate a fast lane for priority business, ensuring swift and effective responses to high-impact opportunities
- You will foster client relationships and develop strategic initiatives to support long-term business partnerships
- You will align with international subsidiaries to drive group-wide efforts and ensure a unified approach to business development
- You will act as interface between sales and engineering/ delivery teams, identifying trends for competencies development, ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of industry advancements
- You will act as an official representative, brand promoter and the main international communication interface for the Sales & Business Development function in Romania
- You will foster and multiply a culture of respect, integrity, inclusion, and innovation within the sales and business development teams
Qualifications
- You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- You have over ten years of work experience in sales, business development, or a related field, with at least five years in a senior leadership or senior responsibility position, preferably within the automotive or engineering services sector
- You have advanced knowledge of sales strategies, business development methodologies, and market analysis
- You speak English fluently; knowledge of German is considered a plus
- You are a team player with a service-oriented working style, and as a self-confident person, you always have an eye for the essentials
- You are recognised as a strong leader with effective managerial skills and a high level of initiative
- You are flexible and willing to travel abroad/domestically whenever required

Porsche Engineering Romania specializes in complex technical solutions at its two locations in Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara, including the development of intelligent and connected electric vehicles, electronics, and design. We cover a wide range of development activities and technical know-how – from conventional powertrains to future mobility, and from prototype to series development. By optimizing brake systems and developing pedestrian protections as well as driver assistance systems, these activities significantly contribute to the improvement of future car safety.
