In our headquarters in Düsseldorf we are looking for you.
TASKS WITH IMPACT
You take on overall responsibility for orchestrating a complex transformation program with a large, predominantly matrix-organized program organization (>50+ FTE, distributed across numerous internal and external roles) over multiple years.
- Define and own the global S/4HANA program strategy, vision, and roadmap, consistently aligning them with the company's transformation objectives.
- You act as the central interface between top management, business functions, and IT, ensuring close alignment across all stakeholders.
- You ensure that the SAP S/4HANA transformation is clearly business-driven and not perceived as a purely IT program. Together with the business functions, you make deliberate trade-off decisions between standardization, local requirements, cost, timeline, and organizational feasibility.
- You are responsible for building, scaling, and continuously steering a complex international program organization. This includes in particular the clarification of roles, responsibilities, capacities, and interfaces, as well as the conscious management of parallel roles and competing workloads within the program.
- You work closely and continuously with the responsible leads of the Finance Target Operating Model Transformation, the Supply Chain Transformation, and the Business Process Architect to ensure that process design, organizational development, and system implementation are integrated, consistent, and aligned along a shared transformation logic.
- You establish effective governance structures, including steering committees, risk management, and clear decision-making processes.
- Planning, execution, and resource allocation across all relevant workstreams, and promotion of agile methods within the transformation environment.
- You define relevant KPIs to measure success and ensure that sustainable value is realized beyond go-live.
- You identify potential risks and challenges at an early stage and initiate appropriate measures to secure program success.
- Management of external partners and ensuring effective collaboration, as well as professional vendor management.
YOUR SKILLS
We take a competency-based and fair approach to recruiting, that´s why we look beyond your experience to understand how you create impact, grow through change, and collaborate for success.
Alongside these competencies, we’re looking for the following skills:
- You hold a successfully completed degree in business, information technology, engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience working with complex, historically grown process and system landscapes, as well as in leading organizations with high organizational complexity and distributed responsibilities.
- Several years of experience leading complex transformation programs or ERP implementations, preferably in the SAP S/4HANA environment.
- You bring extensive experience in steering cross-functional initiatives and have a strong ability to bridge business, process, and technology requirements.
- You possess strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex content in a target-audience-appropriate manner while effectively engaging diverse stakeholders.
- You demonstrate a confident presence when working with senior stakeholders and ideally have experience collaborating with top management.
- You work in a structured, solution-oriented, and pragmatic manner, maintaining a clear overview even in complex situations.
