Tasks
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
- Translate business requirements into data models, metrics, and visualizations.
- Build and optimize Power BI data models using DAX, Power Query, and best practices.
- Ensure performance optimization and scalability of Power BI datasets and reports.
- Work with data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or similar) to prepare and transform data for analytics.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions.
- Implement data quality checks and documentation for datasets and reporting solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Power BI development (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, report design).
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation.
- Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or similar.
- Practical knowledge of Python or PySpark for data processing.
- Experience building end-to-end reporting solutions from raw data to dashboards.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data pipelines.
- Understanding of performance optimization techniques in Power BI.
