We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Functional Consultant for Procurement
to join our team. In this role, you will act as the key liaison between the Procurement function, Business stakeholders, and IT. You will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing procurement and purchasing processes, ensuring that business requirements are effectively implemented through SAP solutions.This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to enterprise-wide procurement operations and contribute to digital transformation initiatives within a dynamic, international environment.
- Analyze, document, and continuously improve procurement and purchasing processes.
- Gather and evaluate business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Support the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP solutions in the Procurement area
- Collaborate with IT teams, business users, and external partners to ensure the effective implementation of system enhancements.
- Provide user support and training, and maintain process and system documentation.
- Participate in projects, rollouts, and change initiatives related to Procurement and Materials Management.
- Monitor system performance, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Procurement processes and tools.
Qualifications
Must haves:
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes in SAP
- S/4HANA experience (either Customising or Local Key User)
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure and changes
- Excellent presentation skills: able to deliver workshops and trainings for customers
