For our Douglas Group Technology we are looking for you as a
TASKS WITH IMPACT
- You develop state-of-the-art solutions for our large e-commerce-platform as part of one of our agile development teams.
- You shape the development of our frontend architecture and our development processes.
- You are a driving force of the Douglas Frontend Community.
- You support your colleagues as mentor and sparring partner.
- You think out of the box and bring in new ideas and technologies in terms of web development.
- You collaborate closely with the business and other stakeholders.
TECH STACK
- Languages & Frameworks: React, Typescript, Node.js, ES6+, Redux
- Architecture & Tooling: SSR, Git, Docker, npm
- Testing and QA: E2E Tests, Unit Tests, Test-driven Development, Test Automation
YOUR SKILLS
- Several years of professional experience as a Frontend Engineer (f/m/d) or in a similar role
- Experience in creating, deploying, analyzing and improving modern Frontends for web and mobile
- Solid experience with modern web technologies like React, TypeScript and Node.js
- Experienced with technologies like ES6+, Redux, SSR, git, docker, npm
- A firm understanding and practical experience in tools and processes to ensure software quality, such as E2E Tests, Unit Tests, TDD and Test Automation
- You are comfortable in complex environments and are able to deal with ambiguities
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams in an international and agile environment
- Strong communication skills in English, German language skills are a plus
- Following things are a plus:
- You have experience in using AI applications in your daily work
- You have a basic understanding of e-commerce backends with technologies like Java and Spring
- Devops knowledge, e.g. Modifying build and deployment pipelines
