The Buyer Planner for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for planning, procuring and scheduling materials and services within Oracle in order to meet the requirements of the factory and customers. You will manage suppliers to improve KPI’s and support lean manufacturing inventory flow. This position is located on-site in Baierbrunn (Munich).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Raw Materials and Finished Goods Inventory management including space allocation and planning
- Maintain materials holding policies in line with customer and business objectives
- Determine inventory policies to optimize revenue opportunities while minimizing excess and obsolescence exposure
- Material requirements planning for selected products/suppliers and effective scheduling of responsible production areas.
- Place purchase orders & updates, manage call-offs and monitor vendor performance. Ensure all Oracle system messages are acted upon in a timely and efficient manner and all system data records are accurate and up to date.
- Manage vendors to ensure continuity of material supply in order to maintain uninterrupted production and in accordance with purchasing and inventory policies. Manage inventory levels in order to meet set inventory targets with the minimum risk of obsolescence.
Qualifications:
- Excellent command of German (spoken and written)
- Good proficiency in English
- Proven experience in Supply Chain Management
- Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
