The goal of Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is to build a world class last mile operation. Amazon aims to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and in the most cost effective way as possible. This role is for an experienced, motivated, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and customer-centric S&OP professional.
The person has a solid delivery record to own and implement strategic, cross-functional projects.
As a S&OP manager, you will support Amazon Logistics coordinate, improve, and optimize the way parcels are shipped from our fulfilment centres and delivered to our customers. This role will oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of an on-going programs including volume planning, designing and optimizing process improvements across various stakeholders from Fulfilment centres, Amazon Middle Mile services, and delivery station operational teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with good attention to detail, and enjoying working with large scale of data.
Key responsibilities but not limited to would be
· Deliver key actionable insights on how to optimize S&OP planning for AMZL accounting for the end to end flow of packages right across the Amazon supply chain
· Improve communication flows between all operational partners to optimize customer experience and cost where gaps exist in planning functions in the operations verticals of fulfilment, middle mile and AMZL
· Work with business teams across the company to define requirements and high level process/system solutions.
This position involves regular communication with project sponsors on status, risks and change control. Stakeholder management, cross-team coordination, project management, and executive presentation skills are essential. You must be able to:
Work cross-functionally and across geographies with stakeholders at all levels to support large-scale programs and initiatives
· Have a rigorous approach to problem solving and analytics, as well as produce, interpret, and draw conclusions from data
· Lead others to drive ongoing program improvements based on user feedback and performance measurements
· Provide leadership, expertise, and technical/operational guidance to the stakeholders and field teams
· Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, as well as balance business needs versus constraints
· Establish business priorities, identifying and communicating risks and mitigation plans in collaboration with stakeholders; developing and maintaining goals, milestones and completion dates
· Be comfortable presenting ideas to senior level stakeholders, receptive of feedback and quick to apply changes
· Have a combination of practical and intellectual skills, as well as ability to rapidly shift and adapt to different tasks that vary between complex analyses, hands-on projects, and project management.


· Masters in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems or related field
· 4+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills to integrate data into operational planning
· Strong knowledge of SQL / ETL
· Recent experience in large project management, handling multiple priorities, and working with projects at cross-organisational level.
· Fluency in English, written and spoken


· An ability and interest to work in an ever-growing and rapidly-changing environment

· 4+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills to integrate data into operational planning
· Delivering cross- functional transformational projects
· PMP / Prince 2 certified - Project management
