The Electrical & Controls Engineering – Leader position is for leading global Electrical and Controls team for Pall F&B with following responsibilities
Lead a global team of E&C engineers detail technical clarification (technology selection, design testing etc.) on requested equipment, including taking on responsibility and ownership for the proposed equipment during project technical elaboration and vendor management of detail design (including functional specification as a base for the process coding, define and creation of instrument, valves, apparatuses and fitting lists etc.) providing technical input in critical questions to the other team members while acting as a coach/trainer.
This position reports to the Director – Global Systems, F&B and is part of the Pall F&B located in BK, Germany and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead a team of high performing Electrical & Controls Engineers Located in APAC, EU and WH regions.
Provide technical leadership in bidding & execution stages.
Analyze customer process user requirements and tender specification for engineered process equipment in Food & Beverage industry (including different technologies such as direct flow filtration, cross flow filtration, etc.) for Electrical, automation and control’s part. Discuss, propose and define final engineered technical system solutions with the customer including assistance in writing technical part of quotation and associated costing.
After Order placement execute the proposed engineered system solution based on agreed and defined contractual specification together with a defined project team as project manager. Make sure the system is delivered in accordance with specification, on time and within budget.
Respect current good engineering practice and industrial standards applicable for the project and work in accordance with our established quality management system.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- BSc/MSc or equivalent in Software, Automation or Controls engineering, or equivalent with minimum 5 years of team management and 10 years overall experience of automation & controls engineering of equipment used in the F&B process industry.
Skills in one or more of HMI and PLC Programming on Siemens & AB Rockwell platforms, Win CC, TIA Portal. Knowledge in Automation design, Controls & BUS communication architecture & IOT.
Fluent in English and German.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
Ability to travel on need basis as per requirement of the project.
