The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
A leading civil engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sub Agent to join our team on highway project in the Norwich area. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a project that will improve the region's infrastructure and transportation network.
What You'll Do:
Play a key role in the successful execution of the highways package, ensuring adherence to project specifications, deadlines, and safety standards.
Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the earthworks team, including coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring smooth workflow.
Oversee excavation, fill, and compaction operations, ensuring proper techniques, soil management, and compliance with environmental regulations.
Maintain meticulous records of work progress and any issues that arise, including daily site diaries.
Champion safety on the project, actively promoting a culture of awareness and enforcing the highest safety standards.
Contribute to the successful completion of the project, meeting deadlines and achieving the highest quality standards.
What We Need:
Proven experience as a Sub Agent on highway or road construction projects, with a particular focus on earthworks.
Strong technical knowledge of earthworks techniques, soil mechanics, and construction materials.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing a team and collaborating with stakeholders.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to achieving project goals on time and within budget.
A strong commitment to safety, with a proven ability to implement and uphold the highest safety standards.
