The Opportunity
Our client is a growing, owner-led property and professional services group with three businesses: an accountancy practice, a lettings and sales agency, and a renovations and property maintenance company. They are looking for a commercially driven Sales and Business Development Manager to lead growth across all three, reporting directly to the CEO.
This is a high-visibility role for an experienced business developer with strong property market knowledge, particularly lettings, sales and HMOs, who wants to build a unified, cross-selling sales strategy from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and deliver revenue growth targets across all three businesses
* Build a single group-wide pipeline and identify cross-selling opportunities, such as introducing landlords to accountancy or renovation services
* Win new landlord instructions, sales listings, HMO and corporate lettings across Salford, Bolton and Liverpool
* Attract new investors and grow the portfolio of properties under management
* Win accountancy and advisory clients, focusing on SMEs, landlords and property investors
* Secure renovation, maintenance and refurbishment contracts with developers, housing associations and commercial property owners
* Build referral networks with solicitors, mortgage brokers and financial advisers
* Represent the business at BNI, networking events, investor seminars and trade shows
* Engage UK and overseas investors, including through London and international travel
* Support the CEO with a private members' network and the group's charitable foundation
* Maintain accurate CRM records and report monthly against KPIs
About You
* Proven business development track record in the UK property market, ideally covering lettings, sales and HMOs
* Understanding of, or the ability to quickly learn, accountancy and construction/renovation services
* Working knowledge of UK property compliance, including HMO licensing
* Strong negotiator and closer who can build relationships at all levels
* Data-driven and confident using CRM systems
* Highly accountable and results-focused, with an entrepreneurial approach
* Able to travel extensively and work flexible hours around evening events and early-morning networking
* Full UK driving licence and a valid passport
