The Role

* Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
* Supporting pupils' academic progress, development and wellbeing.
* Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
* Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
* Working collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams.
* Following school policies, safeguarding procedures and curriculum requirements.
* Providing consistent and effective teaching across a range of school settings.

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification for the role.
* Recent references covering the last two years of employment and/or relevant activity history.
* All gaps in employment or activity history must be fully explained and accounted for.
* Previous teaching experience in a UK school setting is desirable.
* Strong classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
* A flexible, professional and positive approach to teaching.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to undertake the necessary safeguarding checks.
