How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Client Services Associate

£30,000 starting salary | Fully Remote Initially | Manchester | International Career Opportunities

Start in administration. Build specialist expertise. Shape your future.

What if your next job was the beginning of a career you had not yet imagined?

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing US wealth planning business that is establishing its Manchester team. The business supports ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their professional advisers with complex US life insurance and annuity arrangements.

This is an opportunity for someone bright, ambitious and keen to develop. You will initially learn the business through administration, data management and operational support, building a strong understanding of its products, processes and clients. As your knowledge and confidence grow, the role will evolve to include greater client interaction, relationship management and responsibility.

For the right person, this could be the starting point for a specialist career with professional qualifications, long-term progression and potentially international opportunities.

You do not need previous insurance or wealth management experience. What matters is your attitude, ability, attention to detail and willingness to learn.

    The opportunity

Starting on £30,000, you will join a business that values professionalism, accuracy, integrity and high standards. You will receive the training and support needed to learn a specialist area of financial services, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as you develop.

The role is designed to grow with you. Initially, your focus will be on understanding the operational side of the business and ensuring that information, records and processes are handled accurately. Over time, you will have the opportunity to become more involved in client communication, supporting advisers and helping manage ongoing client requirements.

This is not simply an administration position. It is an opportunity to build the foundations for a longer-term career in a specialist international business.

    What you will be doing

Initially: Learning the business and getting the detail right

    *

Managing daily data feeds and updating internal systems.

    *

Maintaining accurate client and policy records.

    *

Gathering and checking information from insurers, advisers and internal colleagues.

    *

Supporting policy reviews and ongoing servicing processes.

    *

Carrying out quality checks and helping ensure information is complete and accurate.

    *

Monitoring outstanding actions and helping keep processes running smoothly.

    *

Learning the business's products, systems and procedures.

As you develop: Taking on more client-facing responsibility

    *

Communicating professionally with clients, advisers and other stakeholders.

    *

Responding to queries and coordinating requests through to completion.

    *

Keeping clients and relevant parties updated on progress.

    *

Helping resolve issues by gathering information and working with the appropriate teams.

    *

Building an understanding of client needs and the arrangements supporting them.

    *

Developing the confidence and knowledge to handle more complex client matters.

The balance of responsibilities will develop as your knowledge, confidence and capability grow.

    Where this could take you

    Professional qualifications and specialist expertise

You will have the opportunity to develop knowledge in a specialist US industry, with potential support towards relevant professional qualifications as your experience and responsibilities grow.

Building expertise in a niche area can help set you apart and provide a strong foundation for future career development.

Progression towards a Client Advisor career

As you gain experience and demonstrate your ability, there may be opportunities to move into more advanced client-facing responsibilities and work towards a Client Advisor position.

This is a longer-term development path, built on learning the business, developing strong client relationships and demonstrating that you can handle greater responsibility. Progression will depend on your performance, experience and readiness for the next step.

The potential to build significant earning power

The starting salary is £30,000, but the longer-term attraction is where your career could lead. Specialist knowledge, relevant qualifications and progression into more advanced positions could significantly increase your earning potential over time.

For someone who is ambitious, committed to developing their expertise and prepared to put in the work, this could be an opportunity to build towards substantial financial rewards. Future progression and earnings are not guaranteed, but the business offers a platform to develop a specialist career with genuine long-term potential.

International career opportunities, including the US

The business has an international outlook, and suitable opportunities in the US may become available as your career develops.

For eligible employees moving into appropriate US positions, visa sponsorship may be available. The business also has access to a luxury New York apartment that can be used to support relocation.

You can build your career in the UK, and moving to America is not compulsory. However, for someone interested in an international career, it is an exciting opportunity to keep in mind as they progress.

The opportunity to grow with the business

You will be joining while the Manchester team is being established, giving you the chance to learn alongside the business and develop as it grows. For someone who takes ownership, learns quickly and consistently delivers high standards, there is scope to build responsibility and become an increasingly valuable member of the team.

    Who we are looking for

This opportunity could suit a strong graduate, an ambitious administrator or someone working in a professional or regulated environment who is ready for their next step.

You might already work in administration, operations, financial services, insurance, legal support or customer service. Equally, you may be a graduate looking for a role that offers more than a conventional entry-level position.

We are looking for someone who brings:

    *

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

    *

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    *

Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities.

    *

A proactive approach to problem-solving and following tasks through.

    *

The ability to learn complex information and apply it carefully.

    *

Confidence and professionalism when dealing with clients and colleagues.

    *

Ambition, curiosity and a genuine desire to develop a specialist career.

    *

A strong work ethic and willingness to take on increasing responsibility.

Previous insurance or wealth management experience is not essential. The right attitude, ability and potential are what matter most.

    Working arrangements

    *

    Salary: £30,000 starting salary.

    *

Location: Manchester team, initially fully remote.

    *

Future working arrangements: A Manchester office may be introduced as the team grows.

    *

Hours: UK working hours, with a rota requiring coverage of US business hours every other week.

    *

Development: Specialist training, potential professional qualifications and opportunities to take on greater responsibility.

    Ready to build something bigger?

If you are looking for more than another administration job and want the opportunity to develop specialist expertise, build client relationships and work towards a career with international potential, this could be the right next step.

You do not need to know everything on day one. You need the ability, ambition and commitment to learn.

Start by learning the business. Build your expertise. Develop your career. See where it could take you.
