How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Administrator – Temp to Perm

    Location: Buckingham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (35 hours per week)
Salary: £13.50 per hour, increasing to £16.00 per hour after 12 weeks
    Contract: Temporary to Permanent
    Working arrangement: Fully office based

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join our client's successful and busy team in Buckingham on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, has excellent attention to detail and genuinely enjoys coordinating, organising and speaking with people!

This is a varied role where you'll be juggling different tasks, liaising with internal teams and external contacts, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. If you're someone who loves bringing people and processes together, enjoys building relationships and takes pride in keeping everything organised, we'd love to hear from you!

We would also particularly welcome candidates from a compliance background, whether that's within recruitment, education, training, HR or another regulated environment. If you're used to managing documentation, maintaining accurate records and ensuring processes are followed correctly, your experience could be a great fit!

    Duties of an Administrator:

Coordinating onboarding and compliance processes relating to student courses

Acting as the first point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders via phone, email and online platforms

Building positive working relationships and communicating with a variety of people daily

Managing and responding to a high volume of communications

Assisting with data entry, record keeping and compliance checks

Creating, formatting and proofreading documents and reports

Setting up and maintaining online platforms and systems

Coordinating schedules, resources, meetings and events

Arranging reviews, audits and moderation activities as required

    Organising online and face-to-face meetings

Ensuring GDPR compliance and maintaining accurate records

Liaising with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

What we would like from you:

Someone who genuinely enjoys coordinating, organising and communicating with people

Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

A confident, friendly communicator who enjoys building relationships

Previous experience within compliance would be particularly welcomed, although this is not essential

Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365

Experience managing documentation, records and processes accurately

Ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and adapt to changing demands

A proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership of tasks

A team player who is equally comfortable working independently

Previous experience within education, training, recruitment or a compliance-focused environment would be advantageous

Educated to A-level or equivalent (degree desirable but not essential)

    What's on offer?

Temporary-to-permanent opportunity with the potential to build a long-term career

Pay increase from £13.50 to £16.00 per hour after 12 weeks in post

Monday to Friday working hours, with no weekends

A busy, varied role within an established and supportive team

The opportunity to develop your administration, coordination and compliance experience

If you're a confident Administrator who loves keeping things organised, enjoys speaking with people and thrives in a varied role, we'd love to hear from you!
