We are seeking Electrical Assembly Operatives to join our production team near York. No advanced experience is required. If you are motivated, reliable, and comfortable using basic hand tools, we will provide full job-specific training to help you succeed.
This is a full-time contract position with genuine permanent roles offered to successful candidates, alongside excellent internal training and clear career progression.
Key Responsibilities as an Assembly Operative:
* Assemble and install basic electrical wiring, cables, and wiring harnesses.
* Route and tie cables neatly through mechanical sub-assemblies.
* Follow basic instructions and simple technical layout drawings.
* Use a variety of hand tools to complete daily production targets.
What We Are Looking For:
* Familiarity with standard hand tools (such as screwdrivers, pliers, or drills) from a previous job or DIY hobbies is highly beneficial.
* Ability to follow written instructions and diagrams safely and accurately.
* You must have your own transport to get to and from the site daily, as public transport is not accessible.
* A strong work ethic and the desire to learn a new trade.
