Senior Quantity Surveyor - Sizewell C

Job Type: Permanent
Location: Sizewell C, Suffolk
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Company Car + Private Healthcare + Gym Membership + Performance Bonus

Daily Responsibilities:

Taking full commercial ownership of key Sizewell C accounts from award through to final account
Administering NEC3 and NEC4 contracts across multiple work packages
Managing CVRs, cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow performance
Leading valuations, payment applications and commercial negotiations
Preparing and agreeing compensation events, variations, remeasures and extensions of time
Providing contractual advice to project and operational teams
Identifying commercial risks and opportunities and implementing mitigation strategies
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, alliance partners and stakeholders

Qualifications:

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline (mandatory)
Minimum 5-8 years' Quantity Surveying experience within construction, civil engineering, geotechnical or specialist subcontracting sectors
Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience administering NEC3/4 contracts, including Options A, B, C and E
At least 3 years' experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level

Required Skills:

Excellent communication, report-writing and interpersonal skills
Ability to obtain and maintain BPSS/SC security clearance for the Sizewell C project
Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel regularly to site
Advanced MS Excel skills
Experience using commercial management platforms such as CEMAR, Oracle Unifier or FastDraft would be advantageous
