How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day running of renewable installation projects across multiple sites.

Oversee Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) and Solar PV installations, ensuring works meet required quality and compliance standards.

Lead, coordinate and manage multiple site teams, operatives and subcontractors.

Plan and monitor project programmes, workloads and progress to ensure deadlines are achieved.

Ensure labour, materials, equipment and resources are available to meet project requirements.

Carry out site inspections, audits and quality checks to ensure installations are completed to a high standard and defects are minimised.

Liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Ensure all works comply with PAS 2030 requirements and relevant industry standards.

Proven experience as a Site Manager within the renewables, construction or planned works sector.

Good knowledge of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) and/or Solar PV installations.

Experience managing multiple site teams and subcontractors.

Experience delivering domestic projects, ideally within social housing.

Knowledge of construction contracts, including JCT and/or NEC.

Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and site compliance.

Ability to manage project programmes, resources and team performance effectively.

    Full UK driving licence.

    Desirable Qualifications and Experience

Experience working within PAS 2030 retrofit environments.

    SMSTS and CSCS qualifications.

First Aid and Asbestos Awareness training.

Experience progressing into multi-site management or project management responsibilities.

    The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be a confident and hands-on leader with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be comfortable managing multiple teams and priorities, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and ensuring renewable installation projects are completed on time and in line with client expectations.
