How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Monitor spare parts inventory and source components through approved suppliers.
Work alongside production teams to ensure equipment is maintained and operator maintenance procedures are followed.
Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment in line with relevant safety regulations.
    About You
You will be an experienced industrial maintenance professional who is comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment and can confidently diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
    You will ideally have:

Experience with PLCs, including troubleshooting and fault finding.
Strong electrical fault finding skills and knowledge of motors, sensors and control systems.
Practical mechanical maintenance and repair experience.
Knowledge of 480V power distribution and electrical safety requirements.
Experience using workshop machinery such as lathes and milling machines.
The ability to read engineering drawings and fabricate simple components.
Experience with preventative maintenance programmes and CMMS systems.
Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A high school diploma, trade school qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience is preferred.

    What's on Offer?

A full time, on site opportunity within a specialist manufacturing environment.
A consistent Monday to Friday second shift, with no regular weekend working specified.
The opportunity to join an established maintenance team and make an immediate contribution.
A varied role combining electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs and equipment maintenance.
