How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Maintain accurate records, ensuring customer billing information, invoice documentation and account records are complete and up to date.
Support the wider Finance team with sales ledger administration, account reconciliation's, credit notes and invoice adjustments.
Monitor outstanding invoicing queries, rejected invoices and customer portal submissions to keep billing on track.
Assist with month-end reporting, billing cut-offs and identification of outstanding revenue.
Identify recurring issues and contribute to improving invoicing accuracy, efficiency and communication across departments.
    Person Specification

We are looking for a confident professional comfortable working with numbers, adept at managing a busy workload and keen to take ownership from start to finish.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach to resolving queries.
Good numerical ability and confidence handling financial information.
Strong administrative skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
A collaborative mindset with the confidence to challenge discrepancies and follow through on outstanding issues.
    Desirable Experience:

Previous experience in sales ledger, invoicing, accounts administration or a similar finance role.
Experience within construction, equipment hire, rental or manufacturing sectors.
Familiarity with purchase orders, customer invoicing portals and hire contracts.
Experience using Sage 50, InspHire or comparable finance and hire management systems.
