About the role and school

Teach Plus are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Lambeth that is looking to appoint a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its Early Years team as soon as possible.

The school is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who understands the importance of early childhood development and can help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.

The successful candidate will support children's learning through play-based activities, encourage communication and independence, and work closely with the wider EYFS team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking to develop their experience within a primary school setting.

Job Responsibilities

Support children within the Nursery setting

Deliver and assist with age-appropriate, play-based activities

Promote children's communication, language and social development

Encourage independence, confidence and positive relationships

Support observations and assessments of children's development

Work alongside the class teacher and other Early Years staff

Help maintain a safe, engaging and well-organised environment

Support daily routines, transitions and children's wellbeing

Adapt support to meet children's individual needs

Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies

Qualifications/Experience

Relevant Level 3 childcare or Early Years qualification essential

Previous experience in a Nursery, EYFS or primary school setting desirable

Understanding of the EYFS framework and child development

Caring, patient and nurturing approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Reliable, proactive and organised

Passionate about supporting children's early learning and development
