How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Technical Business Analyst

Location: London (Hybrid 3 office days every 2 weeks)

    Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

    Join Talos360's Product Team

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to help shape the future of Talos Perform, our performance management platform. Organisations use it to run performance reviews and check-ins, set objectives, gather 360 feedback and recognise good work.

You will work across the whole product: researching and prototyping new features, refining the prompts behind our AI features, managing day-to-day delivery and helping clients with technical questions.

We are an AI-first product team. We use AI agents every day to dig into code, data and logs, build prototypes, and write specs and documentation. You don't need to be a developer, but you'll need enough technical understanding to know which question to ask, where the answer lives, and how to check what you find.

    What You Will Be Doing

Testing and refining the prompts behind our AI features, such as the AI Notetaker, and checking AI output before it reaches customers

Researching and prototyping new features with our designer, including client interviews and usability testing

Managing the Azure DevOps backlog, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and running sprint planning

Testing new features with our QA engineer and coordinating releases

Joining sales and customer success calls to answer technical questions, and supporting onboarding (SSO, APIs, HR system integrations)

Investigating product questions using AI tools across our data, logs and code

Keeping our documentation and help centre up to date

    What You Will Need

Experience as a business analyst, product analyst or junior product manager at a software or SaaS company

Experience writing user stories with acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps, Jira or similar

Hands-on experience using AI tools, including agents such as Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot, and the judgement to check what they produce

Confidence testing software and explaining clearly what went wrong

Clear writing and strong attention to detail

    Desirable

Experience in HR tech or performance management

Understanding of APIs, integrations or SSO

Experience running user research or usability testing

Experience writing or testing prompts for AI features

    Your First Year

You will start by running the day-to-day backlog and release testing and joining client calls. By the end of your first year, you will be leading your own stream of roadmap work from discovery through to release.

    Why Join Talos360?

Work on HR technology used by organisations every day

Join an AI-first product team and work directly with the people making product decisions

Genuine opportunity to influence product direction

Grow into a full Product Manager role

    Apply Today

If you're passionate about technology, software products and solving business problems, we'd love to hear from you
