How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

-Lead, coordinate and manage teams of electricians across live projects, allocating labour and resources to meet programme requirements.

-Inspect electrical installations and ensure all work meets the required quality standards, including compliance with BS 7671 and relevant NICEIC requirements.

-Address poor workmanship, performance issues and health and safety concerns, maintaining accountability across site teams.

-Manage project budgets, labour costs, materials, variations and subcontractor performance to protect commercial margins.

-Coordinate materials, equipment and labour to ensure projects are adequately resourced.

-Liaise with clients, subcontractors, site teams and senior management to maintain effective communication throughout project delivery.

-Ensure all works comply with relevant electrical regulations, company procedures and health and safety legislation.

-Monitor project documentation, progress reports, quality checks and handover requirements.

-Identify opportunities to improve site efficiency, workmanship and overall project performance.

    Essential Requirements

-Full electrical qualifications relevant to the role.

    -Valid JIB card.

-Proven experience managing electrical projects within commercial, industrial or building services environments.

-Previous experience leading and coordinating electricians and site teams.

-Strong technical knowledge of electrical installations and BS 7671 wiring regulations.

-Experience managing project programmes, labour, materials and budgets.

-Ability to identify and resolve technical, operational and commercial issues.

-Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

-A proactive approach to health and safety, quality control and project delivery.

-Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

    Desirable Qualifications

    -SMSTS certification.

-Experience working within an M&E contractor environment.

    -Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

-Knowledge of NICEIC standards and electrical compliance requirements.
