We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a specialist team delivering secure and innovative technology solutions within a confidential government environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
7+ years' DevOps experience
Experience leading DevOps teams and mentoring junior engineers
Strong experience with AWS, Azure and/or GCP
Design and management of CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Jenkins, Git, Bamboo or cloud-native CI/CD tooling
Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience
Scripting with Python, Bash and/or PowerShell
Experience producing technical designs and documentation
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Passion for automation, innovation and emerging technologies
Desirable Skills
Understanding of SRE principles
Experience with PKI and TLS
Experience working within secure or government environments
Security Requirements - Essential
Active and transferable UK SC clearance
Clearance generally less than 10 years old, with at least 12 months remaining (18 months preferred)
Must have worked on a Government/Police contract requiring NSV clearance within the last 12 months
Must not have resided overseas for more than 6 months during any break in government service
Sole British National only - no dual nationality
UK/British passport only; no OCI, NICOP or equivalent additional national identity documentationClient and project details are confidential.
