How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Accounts Payable Systems Analyst

The Transaction Accounting Technology & Projects Analyst supports Accounts Payable and the wider Transaction Accounting function by delivering technology-enabled change, process improvement and automation initiatives. The role combines a strong understanding of transactional finance processes with practical project delivery, data analysis and stakeholder management. It will play a key part in initiatives such as e-invoicing, LERs, ERP implementations, systems integrations and reporting enhancements, helping to improve control, efficiency, standardisation and the user experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Support the Accounts Payable implementation of Transaction Accounting technology and transformation projects

    * Translate operational requirements into clear process, system and data requirements, working closely with Accounts Payable, Finance, Procurement, Tax, IT and external providers.

    * Map current and future-state processes, identify pain points and recommend opportunities for automation, simplification and standardisation.

    * Maintain project plans, actions, risks, issues, dependencies and status reporting to ensure milestones are delivered on time.

    * Support system configuration, testing, defect management, user acceptance testing and implementation readiness.

    * Prepare test scripts, process documentation, standard operating procedures, training materials and user communications.

    * Analyse transaction and system data to identify trends, root causes, control gaps and opportunities for improved performance.

    * Monitor project benefits and operational outcomes, including adoption, processing efficiency, exception rates, data quality and control effectiveness.

    * Act as a subject matter contact between operational teams and technical specialists, explaining complex requirements and solutions in clear business language.

    * Support change management, training and post-implementation stabilisation to ensure new processes and tools are embedded successfully.

    * Maintain strong governance and ensure solutions comply with relevant financial controls, policies, audit requirements and data standards.

    * Contribute to the Transaction Accounting technology roadmap and continuous improvement pipeline.

    Experience and Knowledge

    * Experience within Accounts Payable, Transaction Accounting, Procure-to-Pay or a related finance operations environment.

    * Practical experience supporting technology, automation, system implementation or process improvement projects.

    * Understanding of invoice processing, approvals, supplier data, payment processes, reconciliations, exceptions and financial controls.

    * Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes and supporting testing and implementation activities.

    * Strong analytical capability, with confidence interpreting data and investigating operational or system issues.

    * Experience working across functions and with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.

    * Knowledge of ERP, workflow, e-invoicing, reporting or finance automation platforms is desirable.

    * Formal project management, business analysis, process improvement or accounting qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

    Technical and Analytical Skills

    * Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.

    * Ability to follow clear process maps, requirements, test scripts and project documentation.

    * Familiarity with ERP and finance systems; experience with workflow, automation, reporting or data visualisation tools is beneficial.

    * Understanding of system interfaces, master data, access controls and the importance of data quality.

    * Ability to diagnose issues logically and work with technical teams through to resolution.

    Core Competencies

    * Delivery-focused, organised and able to manage competing priorities.

    * Curious and improvement-minded, with an interest in finance technology.

    * Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and control.

    * Confident communicator who can build effective relationships across business and technical teams.

    * Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working through ambiguity and change
