How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    ·       Assist with the maintenance and support of existing hardware and software, and manage several projects at the same time.

    ·       Assess customer sites, recommend improvements and carry out equipment installations or retrofits in Germany when required.

    ·       Create databases and media content for customers and agents using on-board equipment.

    ·       Work with third-party suppliers to integrate on-board systems and provide technical training to customers and colleagues.

    ·       Produce technical documentation for future reference and work closely with customers to meet their requirements within agreed timescales.

    ·       Collaborate with colleagues to achieve company objectives and undertake other reasonable duties requested by the department manager.

    Essential skills and experience

    ·       Degree-level education or equivalent in electronics or a related discipline.

    ·       Experience setting up and diagnosing Ethernet networking protocols.

    ·       Fluent German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    ·       Proficiency in Windows and the Microsoft Office suite.

    ·       Strong attention to detail, practical and methodical prioritisation, and excellent planning and organisational skills.

    ·       Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining high standards of professionalism and a positive work ethic.

    ·       A proactive, flexible approach to problem solving and the ability to work effectively within a team.

    ·       Self-discipline and flexibility in day-to-day duties and training.
