Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated, qualified Maths Teacher for a long-term opportunity in a local secondary school in Kensington and Chelsea, starting in January 2027. This is a full-time position, 5 days per week, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to students' progress and achievement in mathematics.

Duties and responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across the relevant Key Stages.
Prepare learning materials that support students of different abilities.
Assess students' understanding, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
Establish high expectations for behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Support students in developing problem-solving, reasoning and numeracy skills.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to departmental planning and student progress.
Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures and curriculum requirements.
What you will need
To be considered for this Maths Teacher position, you will need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification accepted for the role.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach mathematics confidently.
Experience teaching secondary school students, ideally across the relevant Key Stages.
Effective classroom management and the ability to engage and motivate learners.
Strong communication, organisation and planning skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting students' welfare.
The right to work in the UK and the ability to complete the required recruitment and safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
