The Role
* Delivering setting out and engineering duties across the drainage package.
* Setting out drainage runs, manholes, chambers and associated infrastructure.
* Interpreting construction drawings, specifications and site plans.
* Ensuring works are delivered accurately and in line with project specifications.
* Conducting as-built surveys and maintaining accurate site records.
* Working closely with Site Agents, Site Engineers, subcontractors and the wider project team.
* Monitoring quality, progress and compliance with health and safety requirements.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering or highways projects.
* Strong experience delivering drainage packages.
* Proficient in setting out using surveying equipment such as GPS and total stations.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Relevant engineering qualifications or demonstrable equivalent experience.
Contract Details
* Rate: £350–£450 per day, depending on experience.
* Start: ASAP.
* Duration: 18 months.
* Location: Scotland, Perthshire area.
* Accommodation and a vehicle may be available!
