How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
    Job Type: Permanent, full-time

    The Opportunity

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established global manufacturing business in the metalworking industry. Due to the continued needs of the business, they are looking for an organised, commercially minded and proactive Internal Sales & Account Management Executive to join their busy, close-knit team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in internal sales, sales administration or customer account management who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Supporting customers, external sales representatives and international markets across the UK, Ireland, Israel and Denmark, you'll play a key role in ensuring orders are processed efficiently, stock is managed effectively and customers receive an exceptional level of service.

Please note: This is more than a straightforward sales administration position. The role involves complex order management, technical product information, stock forecasting and problem-solving, so the successful candidate will need to be adaptable, proactive and confident managing competing priorities.

    What's in it for you?

Hybrid working: The option to work from home one day per week following successful completion of probation.
Early Friday finish: A four-weekly rolling rota, allowing you to finish at 1:30pm on Fridays, with a reduced 30-minute lunch break to ensure contracted hours are completed. Available following probation.
Bonus scheme: The opportunity to earn up to 18% of your annual salary through a performance-related sales incentive scheme, subject to achieving objectives.
Annual leave: 26 days of annual holiday, plus bank holidays. The Christmas shutdown is provided without the need to use annual leave.
Pension: Generous employer pension contribution of 10%.
Training: Comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you develop your product and system knowledge.

    Key Responsibilities

Manage internal sales activities and maintain strong relationships with existing customer accounts.
Process customer orders and enquiries using SAP and AI-supported platforms.
Monitor orders, resolve queries and manage back orders to ensure timely delivery.
Liaise with external suppliers to purchase additional materials and products when required.
Manage material creation, product information and master data accuracy.
Oversee consignment stock, inventory levels and stock forecasting.
Work closely with external sales representatives to support customer requirements and account needs.
Communicate with customers via telephone, email and Microsoft Teams, providing efficient and professional service.
Prepare customs documentation, proforma invoices and other relevant warehouse paperwork.
Identify and resolve order, stock and delivery issues, taking ownership through to resolution.
Support customers across multiple international markets, ensuring accurate and timely communication.

    What We're Looking For

Previous experience in internal sales, sales order processing, sales administration or account management.
Experience using SAP would be highly advantageous due to the complexity of the system.
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
A confident telephone manner and professional communication skills.
The ability to think quickly, solve problems and use initiative.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise competing demands.
Experience dealing with international customers would be beneficial.
Experience supporting Danish-speaking or Danish-based customers would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Full and comprehensive training will be provided. However, due to the fast-paced nature of the team, the ability to learn quickly and become confident in the role is essential.

If you have a background in internal sales, customer account management or sales order processing and are looking for a role offering variety, responsibility and a strong benefits package, we?d love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will ideally be available to start as soon as possible.
