How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Do you have the creativity, enthusiasm and dedication to inspire young learners across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2?

Can you deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that build confidence, curiosity, independence and a love of learning?

Would you like to join a supportive primary school where every child is valued, encouraged and supported to reach their full potential?

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a school based in Stanmore. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, adaptable and committed teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2), creating a positive learning environment that supports pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

The successful candidate will be passionate about primary education, confident in adapting their teaching to meet a range of learning needs, and committed to helping pupils develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to succeed.

    About the Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils at different stages of their primary education. You will use creative teaching approaches to bring learning to life, adapt resources to meet individual needs and maintain high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.

You will play an important role in creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel confident to participate, ask questions, develop independence and achieve their potential.

    Key Responsibilities

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, creative and well-structured lessons in line with the primary national curriculum across KS1 and KS2.

Adapt teaching methods, learning activities and resources to meet pupils' individual needs, abilities and developmental stages.

Create a safe, inclusive, organised and stimulating classroom environment that promotes effective learning.

Maintain high expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour, effort and participation.

Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, identifying strengths, areas for development and opportunities for further challenge.

Use effective assessment strategies to inform lesson planning and support continued academic progress.

Support the development of essential literacy, numeracy, communication and problem-solving skills.

Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, resilience, curiosity and a positive attitude towards learning.

Differentiate lessons to support pupils working at different attainment levels, including those who require additional support or greater challenge.

Provide inclusive learning opportunities for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and those learning English as an additional language (EAL), where required.

Identify barriers to learning and implement appropriate strategies to help pupils engage with the curriculum.

Establish clear classroom routines and use positive behaviour management strategies to promote a respectful and productive learning environment.

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, colleagues and support staff.

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other professionals to support pupils' learning, progress and wellbeing.

Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures, ensuring pupils' safety and wellbeing remain a priority.

    About You

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

A strong understanding of the primary national curriculum and effective teaching practices.

The ability to plan, deliver and differentiate engaging lessons that meet a range of learning needs.

Effective classroom management skills and the ability to establish clear expectations and positive routines.

Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.

A positive, patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching.

The ability to motivate pupils, build confidence and foster a genuine love of learning.

A commitment to inclusive education and supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs.

The ability to monitor pupil progress and use assessment information to inform teaching.

A collaborative approach to working with colleagues, teaching assistants and parents/carers.

A sound understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to promoting positive outcomes for every child.

    What We Offer

    In return, we offer:

The opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children's learning and development.

The chance to work within a primary school based in Stanmore.

A supportive and collaborative teaching environment.

Opportunities to develop your teaching practice and broaden your experience across KS1 and KS2.

A rewarding role where pupil progress, wellbeing and achievement are valued.

The opportunity to work alongside colleagues who share a commitment to inclusive education and high standards.

A school environment focused on helping every pupil reach their full potential.
