How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reward professional looking to play a key role in shaping and supporting strategic reward initiatives, while also contributing to the day-to-day management of reward and compensation activities.

Joining a collaborative People team, you'll support a number of high-profile projects already underway, whilst providing analytical expertise across salary benchmarking, annual pay reviews and reward frameworks.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the delivery of key reward initiatives, including pay transparency and reward framework development.
    • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to ensure reward programmes remain competitive.
    • Assist with annual salary review and compensation planning processes.
    • Analyse reward data and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Support the maintenance and development of job frameworks, grading structures and job evaluation methodologies.
    • Contribute to executive and wider workforce remuneration reporting.
    • Respond to reward and remuneration-related queries from managers and employees.
    • Work closely with HR, Finance and external providers to ensure effective delivery of reward programmes.
    • Maintain high levels of data accuracy across HR and reward systems.

    • Comfortable interpreting and presenting reward data to stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of salary benchmarking and compensation practices.
    • Understanding of UK reward legislation and emerging pay transparency requirements would be advantageous.
    • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

This role would suit an established Reward Analyst, Compensation Analyst, or an HR professional with significant exposure to reward and remuneration activities who is keen to further develop their expertise
