How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Up to £45k + Car Allowance | Bonus | Hybrid Working | Future Directorship Opportunity

Are you an experienced Recruitment Manager looking for more than just your next management role? With a salary of up to £45k, car allowance, bonus and the potential to progress into a Directorship and eventually run the business, this is an opportunity worth exploring.

You'll be joining an established recruitment business looking for someone with the ambition, commercial ability and leadership skills to help drive its next stage of growth.

    Why Join?

As Recruitment Area Manager, you'll benefit from:

    Salary up to £45k
    Car allowance
    Bonus scheme
Genuine potential to progress into a Directorship and eventually take responsibility for running the business
    Hybrid working options
Regional responsibility across three established branches
Opportunity to shape and grow the Industrial and Engineering temporary recruitment division
25 days holiday, rising to 30 with service, plus bank holidays
    Regular salary reviews
    Private GP and healthcare cover
    Pension scheme
    Ongoing training and development
    Regular social events

    The Role
As Recruitment Area Manager, you'll initially take responsibility for growing the Industrial and Engineering blue-collar temporary recruitment division across the Midlands.
This is a hands-on commercial leadership role, so you'll need to be just as comfortable winning new business and meeting clients as you are managing and developing your team.

    You'll be:

Driving growth within the temporary Industrial and Engineering recruitment market
Winning new business and developing existing client relationships
Leading, coaching and developing recruitment consultants across three branches
Attending client meetings and site visits
Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and profitability
Developing and implementing regional growth plans
    Monitoring team performance and KPIs
Recruiting and developing additional consultants as the business grows
Maintaining high standards of service and compliance
Playing an increasingly important part in the wider direction and future growth of the business
The longer-term plan is to develop the Recruitment Area Manager into someone who has the potential to step into a Directorship and ultimately take over the day-to-day running of the business in the next few years.

    About You
To be successful as a Recruitment Area Manager, you'll ideally be an experienced Recruitment Manager, Branch Manager or Area Manager. You'll need to posess strong commercial and leadership experience.

    You'll need:

A strong background in temporary recruitment, ideally Industrial, Engineering, Manufacturing or Blue Collar
A proven track record of winning and developing business
Experience managing, coaching or developing recruitment consultants
Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of what makes a recruitment business profitable
The confidence to build relationships with clients at all levels
A hands-on approach and the ability to lead by example
The ambition and ability to take on greater responsibility as the business grows.

Most importantly, you'll be someone who thinks beyond their own desk or branch. You'll enjoy building a business, developing people and making commercial decisions, with the ambition to eventually lead the whole operation.

    Interested?
If you're an experienced recruitment professional who feels ready for a bigger challenge, this could be the career move you've been waiting for.
It's not just about managing branches. It's about joining a business where you could have a real say in its future and potentially be running it yourself in a few years' time.
