How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Working closely with the Design Manager, consultants, subcontractors and site team, you will help ensure design information is accurate, coordinated and issued in line with project requirements and programme deadlines.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in design coordination within a main contracting environment, gaining exposure to complex construction projects from design development through to delivery on site.

    Key Responsibilities
Assist with coordinating design information between architects, engineers, consultants and subcontractors.
Review drawings and technical documentation to identify discrepancies and coordination issues.
Maintain design registers, drawing schedules and document control systems.
Support the management of technical queries (RFIs) and ensure responses are received in a timely manner.
Attend design coordination meetings and record actions, decisions and outstanding issues.
Monitor design deliverables against the project programme and report potential delays.
Assist with reviewing subcontractor design submissions, specifications and technical proposals.
Liaise with the site team to ensure the latest design information is available and suitable for construction.
Support the identification and resolution of design clashes and buildability issues.
Ensure design information is properly recorded, distributed and maintained throughout the project. Requirements
A degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Construction, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline.
Previous experience in a design coordination, technical or construction-related role is desirable.
Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and design processes.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit or BIM platforms is advantageous.
A proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established construction team and develop your skills in design coordination, technical management and project delivery, with clear opportunities for future career progression within the construction industry
