How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Key Account Manager - Housing and Residential
    London & South East
    Competitive Salary + up to 35% bonus
    Permanent, Full Time

    Ready to accelerate your career in sales?

    Gerflor and Gradus offer products which are ideal for use in a wide variety of applications including healthcare, commercial office, education, retail, hospitality & leisure, and housing.

    Our extensive product portfolio enables us to deliver complete solutions that balance performance, aesthetics, cost-effectiveness and environmentally responsible manufacturing. We work with a diverse customer base, including designers, architects, contractors, building owners and end users across key market sectors.

    Due to our ongoing success, we have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager - Housing and Residential to manage and grow our customer base across Central London and the South East.

    The territory covers the following postcode areas: NR, IP, CB, CO, CM, SS, SG, MK, LU, AL, SL, GU, RH, BN, PO, TN, ME and CT.

    The Role

    Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – South, you’ll take ownership of developing and growing key accounts across the housing and residential sectors.

    This is a commercially focused role where you’ll build strong, long-term customer relationships, identify new project opportunities and increase specifications across the Gerflor flooring and Gradus accessories portfolio.

    Working across Social Housing, Private New Build, Private Rental, Build-to-Rent, MOD Residential and Social Care, you’ll manage projects from initial opportunity through to delivery, collaborating closely with customers, distributors and colleagues across the wider business.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Manage, retain and grow key regional accounts, developing strong relationships at multiple levels.

    * Identify and secure new housing and residential projects across the territory to drive specification and sales growth.

    * Work closely with the UK Housing Lead to develop national accounts and align regional opportunities with the wider housing strategy.

    * Develop relationships with Housing Associations, Local Authorities, housebuilders, landlords, Build-to-Rent providers, distributors, flooring contractors and Social Care providers.

    * Grow residential sales through the distributor network and support distributor sales teams through joint visits, product training and promotional activity.

    * Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline, monitoring projects, forecasts and key performance indicators.

    * Provide insight into competitor activity, market trends, products and customer requirements.

    About You – what you’ll bring

    You’ll be an experienced sales or key account management professional with a proven track record of developing customer relationships and growing accounts. Experience within the housing sector would be highly advantageous.

    You’ll be confident managing longer sales cycles and tracking projects from initial specification through to completion, with the persistence and commercial awareness needed to turn opportunities into results. Highly organised and self-motivated, you’ll be comfortable working autonomously across a large territory while also collaborating effectively with colleagues and customers. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build credible relationships at all levels.

    You’ll also be numerate, analytical and IT literate, with experience using Excel, PowerPoint, Word and CRM systems.

    What we offer in return

    * Competitive Salary with potential bonus of up to 35% of salary based on a mix of business and personal performance.

    * Laptop / Mobile Phone

    * Company Car including Self Charging Hybrid & Electric Vehicles

    * 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays (4-5 days saved for Christmas shut down)

    * Additional annual leave purchase scheme (up to 5 days)

    * Birthday holiday

    * Employee benefits platform provided by VIVUP which includes: -
    - Employee Assistance Programme - 24/7 free confidential advice

    * discounted high street shopping

    * Cycle to work scheme.

    * Group life insurance and death in service

    * Company Pension contribution

    * Occupational Health Services

    * Employee Assistance Programme - 24/7 free confidential advice
