Secure Driver (white glove delivery service)

We are recruiting a professional and reliable Secure Delivery Driver to join a specialist luxury transport and logistics business, providing a high-quality, white-glove delivery service for valuable and delicate goods.

This is a role that combines safe driving, careful handling and exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for transporting goods securely to designated locations, ensuring every delivery is completed with care, discretion and professionalism.

You will operate company vehicles appropriate to your driving licence and authorisation, including specialist security vehicles where required, while following established operational and security procedures.

This opportunity would suit someone with experience in delivery driving, commercial driving or secure transport who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of reliability, attention to detail and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Secure Transportation: Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly, ensuring goods reach their destinations securely and on time.
Careful Handling: Load, secure and unload goods, taking appropriate precautions to prevent damage during transit.
Customer Service: Represent the business professionally, delivering a courteous, discreet and attentive service to clients.
Communication: Maintain regular contact with the operations team, providing delivery updates and reporting delays or unexpected issues.
Documentation: Complete delivery records accurately, check goods and follow procedures for confirming receipt and handover.
Vehicle Checks: Carry out routine vehicle inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any defects, damage or security concerns promptly.
Compliance: Follow road safety requirements, company procedures and relevant security protocols at all times. About You You will be dependable, organised and professional, with a responsible approach to driving and a strong focus on customer service.

You will also demonstrate:

A valid driving licence appropriate to the vehicles operated.
Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Strong attention to detail when handling goods and completing documentation.
A punctual and organised approach to work, with the ability to meet delivery schedules.
The ability to undertake loading and unloading duties safely.
A commitment to confidentiality, discretion and following established procedures.
Flexibility to work Tuesday–Saturday on an agreed shift pattern. Experience and Qualifications The following would be advantageous:

Previous experience in delivery driving, commercial driving or a similar transport role.
Experience handling valuable, delicate or high-end goods.
Background in secure transport or experience operating specialist security vehicles.
Good geographical knowledge and confidence following planned routes.
A CVIT licence or relevant secure transport experience. What's on Offer?
£31,000 annual salary.
