How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Digital Information Management: Monitor project systems, including Viewpoint, Dalux, Chime and Smart Waste, ensuring documentation and information remain current.
    * Delivery Coordination: Monitor delivery bookings, liaise with site teams and the storeman, and resolve booking clashes or missing information.
    * Subcontractor Administration: Coordinate subcontractor inductions, issue relevant documentation, maintain skills matrices and support project communications.
    * Reporting and KPIs: Compile weekly reports, update rolling reports and KPI trackers, and highlight outstanding actions, delays and potential issues.
    * RFI and Delay Tracking: Maintain subcontractor RFI, technical query and delay registers, monitor outstanding responses and escalate issues that may affect project progress.
    * Health and Safety Documentation: Prepare and distribute weekly SHE Friday Packs, ensuring all required documentation is complete, accurate and issued within agreed deadlines.
    * O&M Manuals and Handover Documentation: Maintain trackers, file incoming information, chase outstanding documentation and coordinate submissions to the client and relevant stakeholders.
    * Red-Line Drawings: Maintain drawing records, update trackers and coordinate the collection and distribution of information.
    * Project Folder Management: Audit and maintain project folders, apply agreed naming conventions and ensure document revisions and superseded information are managed in accordance with project procedures.
    Candidate Requirements
    * Previous experience in construction administration, document control or project support within the construction industry.
    * Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
    * Experience maintaining project documentation, registers, trackers and reports.
    * Confident communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with subcontractors, site teams and stakeholders.
    * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic document management systems.
    * Experience with Viewpoint, Dalux, Chime or Smart Waste would be advantageous.
    * Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and proactively follow up outstanding information.
    Salary and Benefits

    * Work with a Tier 1, award-winning building contractor.
    * Exposure to major HMP construction projects.
