How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Our client, a leading international health and wellness business, is seeking an organised and proactive Logistics & Operations Administrator to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in logistics, stock control or supply chain administration to join an established business supplying a diverse range of health and wellbeing products across the UK and international markets.

Part of a wider international health group, the business is committed to helping people develop healthier habits for life. Its Logistics and Operations team plays a vital role in ensuring products are available when and where customers need them, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, problem-solving and working across different areas of the supply chain.

    Job Role

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Logistics & Operations Administrator will support the smooth running of the company's logistics and distribution operations. You will be responsible for stock administration, replenishment planning, purchase orders, shipment coordination and maintaining accurate supply chain information.

Working closely with internal departments, suppliers, third-party logistics providers and freight forwarding partners, you will help ensure stock moves efficiently, deliveries arrive on time and accurate information is available to support operational decisions.

This is a primarily home-based role, offering the flexibility of remote working alongside occasional travel to company locations and meetings. The business is recruiting for two opportunities: one permanent position and one 12-month fixed-term contract.

    Responsibilities

    * Manage day-to-day logistics administration, ensuring records, systems and documentation are maintained accurately.

    * Raise and monitor purchase and transfer orders for products and packaging materials.

    * Coordinate stock movements between suppliers, distribution centres, third-party logistics providers and customers.

    * Liaise with transport providers and freight forwarders to ensure the efficient and timely movement of goods.

    * Monitor stock levels and support replenishment planning to maintain product availability.

    * Plan and track shipments, proactively resolving delivery delays and distribution issues.

    * Prepare shipping documentation, including invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading.

    * Maintain accurate stock information, prepare logistics reports and update operational data.

    * Work closely with Procurement, Customer Service, Finance and other internal teams to resolve supply chain issues.

    * Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, delivery performance and customer service.

    Personal Profile

    * Previous experience in logistics, supply chain administration, warehouse administration or production operations.

    * At least one year's experience in a logistics-related role, ideally within a third-party logistics (3PL) or production environment.

    * Previous administrative experience, with strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

    * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

    * Experience using ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics, would be advantageous but is not essential.

    * An understanding of stock control, order processing, replenishment planning or distribution processes.

    * Confident communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.

    * A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

    * A flexible team player who can also work independently, take ownership of tasks and adapt to changing requirements.

    * A professional, customer-focused attitude, with a willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment.

    Benefits include:

    Competitive salary of £32,000.

    Discretionary annual performance-related bonus.

28 days' annual leave, excluding bank holidays.

Staff discount across the company's product range.

    Primarily home-based working.

Opportunity to join an established international health and wellness organisation.

Broad exposure to logistics, stock management and supply chain operations.

Contract options: one permanent position and one 12-month fixed-term contract.
