Resourcing Group is working with a large maintenance contractor based in Birmingham who would like to appoint 2 experienced and qualified Plumbers, 2 experienced kitchen and bathroom fitters, a painter/decorator and a working fore person to join their local team. The contractor carries out a mixture of planned and responsive repairs in domestic and commercial premises, working on behalf of public sector landlords.

These roles will specifically include carrying out planned works with in occupied social housing properties, ripping out existing kitchens and bathrooms and replacing them with either bathrooms, wet rooms as part of a disabled adaptation programme, or kitchens. The roles are available to start as soon as the organisation are able to find the right calibre of person to join their team.

The role will involve the complete rip out and re installation, so people wiht a wide range of skillsets will be needed for these roles to be fulfilled to their fullest potential.

Skills:

Either a Plumber or Carpenter by trade
Able to carry out all aspects of plumbing and carpentry in line with Kitchen and bathroom fitting, including soldering if doing Bathrooms and/or wet rooms
Tiling
Flat lay flooring
Patch repair
General repairs and maintenance eg finishing duties including painting, silicone works etc
The hours are Monday to Thursday 8am - 430 pm and a Friday is 8am - 330pm.

Once you are settled in to the role, there is the option to go on to price work. This is entirely your choice and most trade people on the contract are averaging well over £42k pa at the moment.

This is a paye permanent role.
