How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Food & Drink Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship Programme
    Location: Wakefield

If you enjoy hands-on work and want to improve your technical skills while studying for a Food & Drink Engineering Maintenance qualification, this programme might be perfect for you. You'll have the chance to study while working with our skilled team members, receiving on-the-job coaching and learning opportunities, all while earning an academic qualification. No previous technical experience is necessary; we're looking for individuals who are eager to learn and motivated to grow in this role.

Our 2027 apprenticeship programme is open and waiting for your application!

At CCEP, we believe in attracting new talent to our business and valuing the innovation that a diverse workforce brings. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and experiences, with a particular focus on improving gender balance in manufacturing.

In return, you'll join an organisation that invests in your development and offers top-notch learning opportunities to help you succeed in the FMCG sector and advance your career.

Our Engineering apprenticeship programme offers the following:

A four-year programme that will immerse you in Engineering operations, working closely with our site teams and educational partner who will support your studies.

The first five months will be a full-time residential experience with other CCEP engineering apprentices at the Northwest Training Council in Liverpool, with accommodation fully funded by CCEP. After this residential phase, you'll return to your CCEP Manufacturing site to continue your on-the-job learning.

Upon successful completion of the programme, you'll achieve a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Food and Drink Maintenance Engineering.

Your starting salary for the program is £27,492 with annual salary reviews.

We also offer excellent benefits, including 25 days of annual leave (with an option to purchase up to 10 additional days), a pension scheme, private medical care, access to 24/7 Wellbeing programs (inc Employee Assistance Program), and flexible benefits to suit your needs.

You'll be joining a world-class organisation that prioritises an inclusive and diverse workplace, employee wellbeing, and exceptional training and development throughout your career.

    What we expect from you:

We expect you to have at least GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent qualification), including Maths and English. We welcome applicants who may have faced barriers to education or have disabilities; please let us know if you require adjustments to meet these criteria.

You should also demonstrate an interest in manufacturing, a willingness to learn, and a strong desire to complete the program and become an accomplished engineer.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for a minimum of three years.

Please note: Candidates who are successful through the initial stages of the recruitment process will be invited to attend an assessment centre, which is currently planned to take place in early February 2027. Further details will be provided to shortlisted candidates closer to the time.

We combine the scale of a large multinational business with expert local knowledge of the customers and communities we serve, investing, employing, manufacturing and distributing locally.

This commitment is reflected in our recognition as a Top Employer by the Top Employers Institute and as a Disability Confident Leader. If you need any adjustments or support during the recruitment process, please let us know when you apply so we can support you to perform at your best.
