Key Responsibilities
As Junior Sous Chef, you'll support the senior kitchen team in delivering exceptional food, maintaining high standards and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Support the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef in delivering consistent, high-quality food
Assist with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Support and supervise junior chefs and kitchen porters during preparation and service
Help maintain a positive, organised and collaborative kitchen environment
Cover breakfast duties when required
Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and allergen regulations
Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and consistency during busy services
What we're looking for
We're looking for a passionate Chef who is ready to take on more responsibility and help lead a professional kitchen team.
Experience working in an AA Rosette-awarded establishment
Confidence working across all kitchen sections, including food preparation
Strong organisational and communication skills
A commitment to excellent food quality, preparation and presentation
The ability to support, coach and develop junior team members
A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively under pressure
Previous experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role would be advantageous
