Primary Teaching Assistant – Supportive East London Primary – Long‑Term Role £107 - £119 per day (Umbrella) • Weekly Pay • Tower Hamlets Start: October Half‑Term (Trials Taking Place Next Week)

MUST HAVE ENHANCED DBS ON THE UPDATE SERVICE

A welcoming and well‑resourced primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a committed KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This position begins after the October half‑term, with trial days scheduled for next week for shortlisted candidates.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting KS1 pupils with phonics, early reading, writing and numeracy

*

Delivering small‑group activities and targeted interventions

*

Providing 1:1 support for pupils who need additional guidance

*

Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and daily routines

*

Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and confidence

*

Supporting children with mild SEN needs and helping them access learning

*

Ensuring safeguarding and school policies are followed consistently

Experience working in KS1 (essential)

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
