How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

You will ensure that all reviews are completed within the required deadlines and timescales, helping to meet client expectations.

You will liaise regularly with clients, construction partners and the wider team to ensure that all relevant parties are kept informed of progress, outstanding issues and the latest updates. This will include contacting construction partners by email and telephone to resolve queries and follow up on outstanding defects.

You will work closely with the small Health and Assurance (H&A) team and attend client and construction partner defect meetings when required. You will also provide cover for team members during annual leave and sickness absence to ensure continuity of service.

    Key Responsibilities

Record all Technical Design Review outcomes on Intelex and Total Mobile, ensuring internal records are accurate and up to date.

Review all VMO2 and CS B/Hops within the five-working-day Service Level Agreement to ensure client requirements and deadlines are met.

Review resubmitted work, monitor outstanding issues and close defects on Intelex once they have been resolved.

Record and claim relevant milestones (MS) on client databases, using Siteflo for Virgin Media O2 and Siterra for CS.

Manage the recording and tracking of all information relating to the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, STC/FA requirements and asbestos information, ensuring the relevant internal trackers are updated on United Infrastructure's (UI) Siteshare system.

Respond to queries from clients and construction partners regarding Technical Design Review outcomes, defects and outstanding actions.

Contact construction partners by email and telephone to request updates, resolve queries and ensure outstanding actions are completed.

Liaise with clients and internal teams to communicate progress, share updates and ensure all relevant parties are informed of any changes or issues.

Work closely with Field Engineers (FEs) to confirm that electrical installations on site have been completed in accordance with the agreed scope of work and BS 7671, the British Standard for electrical installations.

Work alongside the Health and Assurance team to support the effective management of reviews, defects and compliance information.

Attend client and construction partner defect meetings as required, providing updates and helping to drive the resolution of outstanding issues.

Provide team cover during annual leave and sickness absence, helping to maintain service levels and meet client deadlines.

Maintain accurate records and trackers, ensuring information is complete, reliable and readily available when required.
