The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in commercial office fit-outs and the confidence to take control of a live construction site?

We're looking for a hands-on Site Manager to oversee an initial 4–5-week strip-out project, with the opportunity to transition onto a further Five-month project.

Offering £275 per day, a prompt start and the potential for longer-term continuity, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running, maintain high site standards and keep works progressing safely and efficiently.

The initial phase involves strip-out works within an army barracks-style environment, requiring a proactive approach to site coordination, health and safety, subcontractor management and programme delivery.

What you will be doing.

Taking day-to-day responsibility for site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
Managing and coordinating subcontractors, site operatives and deliveries.
Overseeing strip-out activities, ensuring work is completed in line with the programme and project requirements.
Maintaining strict health and safety standards, including site inductions, toolbox talks, risk assessments and method statements.
Monitoring progress against the programme, identifying potential delays and implementing solutions.
Coordinating site documentation, progress reports, permits and relevant compliance records.
Using Procore or Breadcrumb to manage site documentation, track progress and maintain accurate project records.
Liaising with project management, subcontractors and other stakeholders to resolve site issues promptly.
Maintaining a clean, organised and professional working environment.
Supporting the transition between project phases to ensure continuity of delivery.What we are looking for

Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial construction.
SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid and Asbestos Awareness.
A strong background in commercial office fit-outs and refurbishment projects.
Previous experience overseeing strip-out works.
Proficient working knowledge of Procore or Breadcrumb, experience with either system is essential.
Strong knowledge of construction health and safety procedures.
Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing day-to-day site activities.
The ability to interpret construction programmes, drawings and site documentation.
Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership of site delivery.Relevant construction site management qualifications and cards should be held in line with project requirements
