How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Unite People is recruiting an experienced Information Manager for a leading Tier 1 contractor.

This role is responsible for the information management strategy on the project, making sure all project information is controlled, compliant and accessible to the delivery team, the client and the supply chain. Hands-on ASITE experience is essential.

    Key responsibilities

    * Set up, administer and manage the ASITE Common Data Environment (CDE): workflows, folder structures, permissions, metadata and distribution.

    * Develop and maintain information management documents in line with ISO 19650, including the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP), Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs) and Information Protocols.

    * Make sure information is produced, named, checked, approved and issued to project and client standards.

    * Manage document control processes for drawings, RFIs, technical queries, submittals and transmittals.

    * Onboard and train project staff, designers and subcontractors on ASITE and information management procedures.

    * Audit the CDE regularly, report on compliance and resolve any issues.

    * Manage information exchanges with the client, the designers and the supply chain.

    * Coordinate the handover information, O&M manuals and asset data required at completion.

    * Support the BIM and digital engineering teams with model federation and information requirements, where needed.

    About you

    * Proven experience as an Information Manager, Document Controller or BIM/Information Coordinator on construction or infrastructure projects.

    * Strong hands-on experience of ASITE as a system administrator (essential).

    * Good working knowledge of ISO 19650 and the UK BIM Framework.

    * Experience on [sector, e.g. highways, rail, water, energy or major building] projects.

    * Confident training and supporting teams at all levels.

    * Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.

    * Good IT skills. Experience of other CDEs (Viewpoint 4Projects, Aconex, BIM 360/ACC, ProjectWise) and of Navisworks or Revit is an advantage.

    * Relevant qualifications, such as BIM or ISO 19650 certification, are desirable
