How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Digital Marketing & Growth Manager

At Microlise, digital marketing plays a central role in how we grow our business and reach customers around the world. We’re looking for a Digital Marketing & Growth Manager to shape our digital strategy, strengthen customer journeys and turn marketing investment into measurable pipeline and commercial results.

Based in Nottingham with hybrid working, you’ll lead digital performance across the UK and Ireland, France and Australia, with the freedom to shape how we attract, engage and convert customers across all our markets. You’ll own our website and digital growth roadmap, lead a small web development and digital marketing executive team, working closely with Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, Sales and regional marketing teams.

This role would suit an analytical digital marketer who enjoys using data, systems and experimentation to improve performance. You’ll own digital budgets, website delivery, lifecycle activity and reporting, using tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, GA4 and AI to make informed commercial decisions. If you have a clear vision for growth and the confidence to lead people, partners and projects, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

    What you’ll be doing

Turn our global marketing strategy and revenue goals into a prioritised digital growth roadmap, delivery plan and budget.

Lead activity across the website, SEO, paid media, email and nurture, improving customer journeys, visibility and conversion through analysis and testing.

Partner with Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, Sales and regional teams to deliver effective international campaigns, lifecycle management and lead routing.

Maintain accurate tracking across HubSpot, Salesforce, GA4, Google Tag Manager and advertising platforms, turning full-funnel data into clear optimisation actions.

Manage digital budgets, forecasts and ad spend, using commercial performance to guide investment decisions.

Lead and develop the web development team, setting clear priorities, objectives and delivery standards.

Manage agencies, suppliers and technology partners, while using AI and emerging technology to improve efficiency and performance.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

Strong digital demand-generation experience in a complex B2B, enterprise technology or similarly high-consideration environment, with evidence of contributing to pipeline or revenue.

Practical experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, GA4, Google Tag Manager, paid media, SEO and conversion-rate optimisation.

Experience owning a corporate website or CMS roadmap, ideally using WordPress, Webflow or another enterprise CMS.

People-management experience, or clear evidence that you’re ready to step into your first formal management role.

Strong analytical judgement and confidence using performance data to make commercial, budget and supplier decisions.

Experience managing agencies, multiple stakeholders or competing workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

The ability to bring structure to complex priorities, communicate clearly and confidently challenge how things are done.

Experience working with Revenue Operations, marketing enterprise software or technology solutions, and operating across global and regional teams would be advantageous. A relevant degree, CIM qualification or equivalent professional development would also be beneficial, but are not essential.
