Gallagher's Edinburgh office is seeking a Schemes Account Handler to join our successful and growing Schemes team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a specialist area of insurance, supporting a well-established client portfolio and becoming part of a collaborative, high-performing team.

How you'll make an impact
- Managing policy renewals, new business and mid-term adjustments across our schemes portfolio.
- Building strong relationships with clients, our Appointed Representative network and insurer partners.
- Providing professional advice and guidance on policy cover and insurance solutions.
- Responding to client enquiries by phone and email, delivering an outstanding customer experience.
- Ensuring all client records and documentation are maintained accurately and compliantly.
- Operating within delegated underwriting and insurer authority agreements.
- Supporting account queries, premium collections and credit control activities.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with regulatory requirements, company procedures and industry standards.
About You
- Experience within insurance, financial services or another regulated customer service environment would be advantageous.
- A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering great outcomes.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a busy team environment.
- Confidence working with systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Progress towards, or interest in studying for, CII qualifications would be beneficial.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
