How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you a natural relationship builder who thrives on networking, stakeholder engagement, and delivering high-profile events?

We're seeking an experienced Regional Manager to become the face of a leading professional membership organisation across the North West of England. This is a highly visible, autonomous role focused on growing membership engagement, supporting local branches, developing strategic relationships, and delivering an outstanding programme of regional events and professional development activities.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded people-person who enjoys building communities, influencing stakeholders, and leading dispersed teams.
    The Opportunity
As Regional Manager, you will work closely with regional volunteer leaders, ambassadors, committees, and the wider organisation to support membership growth, professional development, and member engagement across the region.
You will oversee multiple branches, manage regional activity plans, lead events, and act as the key point of contact for members, helping to strengthen the organisation's presence and impact throughout the North West.

    Key Responsibilities

Drive membership growth, retention and engagement across the region.
Build strong relationships with members, volunteers, local businesses and stakeholders.
Lead, coach and support Branch Managers and volunteer leaders.
Deliver a programme of engaging networking events, training sessions, roadshows and professional development activities.
Act as the organisation's regional ambassador at meetings, conferences and industry events.
Manage regional budgets, performance targets and business plans.
Ensure effective member communications and CRM data management.
Work collaboratively with national teams to deliver strategic objectives locally.
Identify opportunities to enhance member value and grow regional influence.
We're looking for an engaging and confident professional who enjoys working with people and creating meaningful connections.

    Essential Skills & Experience

Experience managing regional networks, branches, sites, territories or stakeholder groups.
    Exceptional relationship-building and networking skills.
Strong leadership experience, including coaching and motivating teams.
Confident public speaker with experience delivering presentations, workshops, training sessions or events.
Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and performance objectives.
    Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Comfortable building relationships both face-to-face and through digital channels.
Self-motivated and capable of managing a varied workload independently.
Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
    What You'll Bring

Energy, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for people.
    A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
The ability to thrive under pressure and balance multiple priorities.
Confidence hosting events, facilitating discussions and representing an organisation externally.
An excellent sense of humour and a collaborative approach.
    What's on Offer?
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the field, developing relationships, supporting local communities and creating meaningful connections across a diverse membership network.
Home-based role with flexibility and autonomy.

Opportunity to represent a respected professional membership organisation.
A varied position combining stakeholder engagement, events, people management and business development.
The chance to make a visible impact across the North West region.
