MPL Site Services (Heathrow) Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced, reliable and competent Roofer to join their team, working across London and the South East.
We are looking for a skilled individual who can work independently, take responsibility for their work and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship without the need for supervision or assistance.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
* Stripping existing roofs and preparing for replacement.
* Installing roofing felt and battens.
* Loading out materials and equipment.
* Carrying out roof tiling and slating to a high standard.
* Running and managing a roofing gang where required.
* Undertaking basic leadwork.
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
The Ideal Candidate
* Experienced and competent across all aspects of roofing listed above.
* Able to work independently and use their own initiative.
* Capable of leading a roofing gang and ensuring work is completed efficiently.
* Reliable, punctual and professional.
* Customer-friendly, with good communication skills.
* Committed to delivering excellent workmanship and maintaining high standards of health and safety.
